Occupational First Aid

The Occupational First Aid Regulations were published in 1993. These regulations imposed a mandatory requirement on all employers to have a specified minimum number of Occupational First Aiders trained and deployed in the workplace.

  • We provide First Aid Courses nationally.
  • We specialise in training for the construction and leisure industries.
  • All our Instructors & Examiners hold current certification from the National Ambulance Training School..
  • Occupational First Aid Certificates comply with Safety Health and Welfare at Work Act (General Applications Regulations S.I. No. 44 1993)

  • Control of bleeding
  • Heart Disease
  • Fractures and soft tissue injuries
  • Unconsciousness
  • Medical Emergencies
  • Practical Applications
  • C.P.R.

3 day intensive training course-
3 day course (1 day per week over three weeks)-
1 day basic First aid-
1 day refresher with exam-

Fees can include books, materials and certification, lunches and refreshments.

Occupational First Aid Certificates are valid for a 3 year period.
